Now that wearable GPS devices are becoming common, there are posts showing routes through Kloofendal with times, for example at http://www.mapmyrun.com/za/roodepoort-gauteng/kloofendal-outer-circuit-course-1405133

Numerous emails thank us for our work.

We strive to collaborate with all organisations that are involved with Kloofendal.

Johannesburg City Parks manages the Reserve on behalf of the City of Johannesburg.

The Friends of Kloofendal supports The Geological Society of South Africa's geoheritage initiatve through our geological and mining history walks and thank the GSSA for their support.

"As a not-for-profit, public benefit association, the GSSA strives to serve the wider public interest as well as the professional membership. Included in some of these initiatives is a recent focus on geoheritage, including geotourism and outreach education, issues clearly important to the public at large."

Bushveld Training Adventures ran one-year time wildlife & environment courses in Kloofendal in 2007, 2008 & 2009.  Some of the current FroK guides were trained during these courses.

We are fortunate that many marvelous people provide their services to guide the weekend and school groups at costs well below their professional rates.

Here we provide links to their web sites
